The Munda Biddi Trail (which means path through the forest in the Noongar Aboriginal language) is fast becoming a world-class nature-based off-road cycling experience. There are few places left in the world where a 1000km track could be built through an undeveloped natural corridor. Combine Western Australia’s vast areas of unspoiled forests and bushland, gentle terrain, and year-round cycling weather, and you have the ideal setting for an off-road cycle trail. The Trail starts in Mundaring and makes its way through Paulls Valley, Hackett’s Gully and both Beelu and Kalamunda National Parks. The Munda Biddi is accessible from ‘The Dell’ – a picnicking spot off Mundaring Weir Road in Paulls Valley. Not far from ‘The Dell’ and also accessible from Mundaring Weir Road is a large well maintained car park with designated bays and artificial gravel humps for off road cyclists to practice and access the Kalamunda Circuit.
