Hartfield Park is primarily a public area maintained by Shire of Kalamunda for the use of Clubs involved in sports such as soccer, cricket, rugby, tennis, bowling, hockey and BMX. There is also a Scout Hall. Each discipline has its own club rooms leased from the Shire. There is one playground adjacent to the Kalamunda Districts Rugby Union Club. The grounds are available for hire. There is also a first class golf club. Between the team sports and the golf club there are Forrestfield Federation Gardens which is a dog exercise area containing a large lake, one garden seat and two picnic tables. No other facilities. The lake is surrounded by an all weather concrete path.
