Located walking distance from the Kalamunda town centre, Jorgensen Park is a much loved recreational area (especially by runners, walkers and dog owners). Originally the Kalamunda Gold Course, the Park is a unique combination of grassed (though now unmaintained) fairways separated by pockets of bush. The Kalamunda Community Learning Centre is located in the grounds and a small section of the Bibbulmun Track also runs through the Park.
The Jorgensen Park Walk Trail is a fairly easy and enjoyable 2.7km loop around the Park.
