Maida Vale Reserve is utilised by sporting clubs and schools for various activities. It is one of the Shire of Kalamunda’s major recreational grounds. It consists of several ovals and a small pocket of picturesque bush with an unsealed path running through. The Maida Vale Tennis Club, Kalamunda Archery Club and the Kalamunda United Football Club all have their club rooms at the Maida Vale Reserve amongst others. There are netball courts, cricket pitch and basketball courts. There is also a playground. The grounds are managed by the Shire of Kalamunda and are available for hire (phone: (08) 9359 1700). There is adequate parking and the Reserve is accessible by bus.
